Bread and Puppet theater, future Waypoint Center lot, Bellows Falls, VT 1999

Bellows Falls, once considered an under-served community, was not known as one that supported the arts. Over the years, RAMP has developed relationships and credibility within the community, as well as with statewide organizations. RAMP has effectively leveraged press and social media to highlight artists and programs that will bring attention to the community and demonstrate positive economic and social impact and keep arts “at the table.”

Locally, these include the Windham Regional Planning Commission, Town of Rockingham, Great Falls Regional Chamber of Commerce, Bellows Falls Downtown Development Alliance, and Friends of the Rockingham Library. On a broader spectrum, this has included the National Trust for Historical Preservation, Preservation Trust of Vermont, and the Vermont Community Foundation. More recently, RAMP has collaborated with the Brattelboro Development Credit Corporation in regional development initiatives and the Vermont Council on Rural Development in several initiatives including the recent “Let’s Take Action Rockingham” development strategy.
