Music for Trains a creative residency and multi-media performance event inspired by the sights and sounds of Brattleboro and Bellows Falls and the railways that connect them Music for Trains brings So Percussion to Southern Vermont to create an original site-specific work that will premiere on August 8 & 9 on the train and in the train depots of Brattleboro and Bellows Falls.
So Percussion will be in residence and collecting stories and sounds at local farmers markets over Memorial Day weekend, at the Bellows Falls Rail Day on June 29th and throughout the summer.
The Music for Trains performance and residency with So Percussion is produced by Vermont Performance Lab in partnership with the Brattleboro Museum & Art Center, the Brattleboro Music Center and the Rockingham Arts and Museum Project.
